Simethicone Side Effects
Simethicone is a safe and effective over-the-counter gas relief medication with very few, if any, side effects. According to the National Institutes of Health, simethicone usually has no side effects when taken according to package instructions or as directed by your doctor. Serious Simethicone Side Effects

According to Cigna, an overdose of simethicone is unlikely to cause serious or life-threatening symptoms. There are currently no known cases of fatal simethicone overdoses.
