What is Lamisil?

Lamisil (Terbinafine) is available in tablet, cream or solution form. The tablets are normally prescribed to treat toenail and fingernail fungal infections while the cream is normally used in the treatment of conditions like athlete’s foot and ringworm.

Lamisil solution is normally prescribed to patients who have fungal infections which are present on large areas of the body such as the trunk. This medication is available on prescription only and should always be used as per the instructions of a doctor as misuse could lead to liver damage.
