Toviaz Dosage

by on April 22, 2012

Toviaz (Fesoterodine) is indicated for overactive bladder with urge frequency, urgency and incontinence.

The recommended dose is 4mg via oral every day; this dose may increase to 8mg via oral every day, depending on the severity of the symptoms. If fesoterodine is co-administrated with CYP3A4 inhibitors including ketoconazole, itraconazole or clarithromycin, do not exceed more than 4mg per day. The duration of the treatment is controversial, many physicians recommend long-term anticholinergic therapy together with patient education.
